Job description

 Christian Counseling Center of Cumberland County (C5) is looking to hire an Executive Director to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing the key management and administrative activities of C5 Christian Counseling Center of Cumberland County. The successful candidate will report directly to the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the agency under the direction of the Board of Directors and in keeping with all related ethical standards
  • Oversee and coordinate marketing and fundraising with the support of the Board of Directors and Clinical Director
  • Manage records and information
  • Oversee/write grants  as needed
  • Network with community, church, business, and government organizations and leaders to increase awareness of mental health issues and C5's services to the community.
  • Plan and oversee maintenance of  work facilities
  • Provide administrative assistance to the management team
  • Serve as the liaison between the Board of Directors and Staff
  • Perform other office tasks (purchase and replenish office supplies, audit electronic records, support bookkeeper as needed, etc.)
  • Coordinate Volunteers

Qualifications:

  • Master's level degree in nonprofit administration or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in administrative services or other related fields
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong communication skills

Christian Counseling Center is a non-profit Counseling Center that serves all in need of counseling. Founded by seven churches in 2002, this center counsels those without insurance for their ability to pay, based on a sliding scale. Insurance clients are also served.
