Requisition Summary
Kenworth, a division of PACCAR, is seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Intern to join our Human Resources team for Fall 2026 in Kirkland, WA. This role is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in recruiting and talent acquisition.
This internship offers valuable learning opportunities, including:

Job Functions / Responsibilities
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to manage full-cycle recruiting activities.
  • Own job requisition creation, updates, and closures within the applicant tracking system.
  • Source and attract external and internal candidates using tools such as SAP SuccessFactors and LinkedIn.
  • Review and evaluate resumes, conduct initial candidate outreach, and assess alignment with role requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage interview processes, including scheduling and logistics for phone screens and onsite interviews.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for communication between Hiring Managers, Candidates, and HR stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build diverse and high-quality talent pipelines.
  • Draft and post job descriptions.
  • Support candidate onboarding and partner with HR to ensure a smooth new hire experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data within SuccessFactors.
  • Represent the company at recruiting events, including career fairs, networking events, and campus outreach initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in recruiting processes, tools, and candidate experience.
