Food Service Worker
Location: Glendale
Employment Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $17.00/hour
Hours: 10:15 A.M. - 1:15 P.M. Monday-Friday
HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE AT SUN VALLEY ACADEMY
As the Food Service Worker, you will supervise students and ensure proper behavior. You will also:
  • Check students' names off of the rosters
  • Open containers for lower grade students
  • Wipe tables, sweep, mop, and dispose of waste to maintain cleanliness of the multipurpose room during the lunch periods
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. In addition, some carrying, pushing, and/or pulling

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year experience working with children
  • Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
