Job description

We offer expert electrical and low voltage contracting services to Greater Bostonโ€™s commercial, institutional, life-sciences, hospitality, and retail markets. We leverage VDC, green building techniques, integrated project delivery, and lean construction methods that help improve efficiency and enhance client operations.


Gaston Electrical is looking for a Service Project Manager who is responsible for responding to service requests from clients and managing projects from estimating to project completion. This person is also responsible for growing our existing customer base through positive and responsive customer interactions.


  • Manage service projects through pre-planning, cost tracking, billing, project documentation and project close out.
  • Manage existing customer relationships and provide excellent customer service to help grow our division. Identify new opportunities for business and promote Gastonโ€™s services.
  • Schedule field service technicians for jobs and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Project manpower for projects on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare estimates for service projects.
  • Work with Accounting department on billing.
  • Participate in meeting annual service department revenue and profit margin goals.
  • Operates as point of contact for assigned customers.

ย Position Requirements/Preferred Skills, Education and Experience

  • 3 to 5 years experience estimating and project managing commercial construction projects.
  • Electrical field experience required. Licensed electrician is preferred.
  • Experience in working with customers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in staying organized and following up on tasks.
  • Ability to work on tasks efficiently and prioritize work.
  • Ability to identify and meet customersโ€™ expectations and requirements.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others.
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office โ€“ Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Knowledge of Spectrum Construction Software a plus.
  • Knowledge of Conest Estimating Software a plus.
