  • Department: Parks + Rec - Seasonal Jobs
  • Title: Seasonal Worker V- Bus Driver
    Location: Blue Springs, MO - Kemper Outdoor
    Grade: 099NM
    Salary: $23.00/hour
    Job Duties:
    • Transport campers and staff of Jacomo Summer Camp safely to field trip locations per the camp schedule.
    • Responsible for following the weekly camp schedule - hours and days change each week (Tuesday-Friday schedule, up to 30 hours/week).
    • Responsible for seeing that the bus and staff transport vehicle are filled with gas and ready each day for field trips.
    • Perform bus pre- and post-checks, including checking that oil and engine fluids are at proper min/max levels.
    • Communicate any issues regarding the bus to the Camp Director.
    • Occasionally take on roll of chaperon while at field trips.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Commit to 10-week availability that camp is open during the summer.
    • At least 1-year of bus driving experience preferred for camp or school transportation.
    • Must have a good driving record and a valid Class B CDL license with a Passenger endorsement.
    • Must submit to/pass pre-employment drug screen/background check
