Housekeeper - St. Barnabas Nursing Home

St. Barnabas Nursing Home is looking for experienced Housekeepers:

  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Shifts: Monday - Friday, Daylight. Once a month weekend rotation

What You Will Do:

  • Cleaning, mopping and disinfecting restrooms daily. Restocking all paper products and soaps
  • Daily cleaning to include, vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting, restrooms, kitchens and removing all trash to outside containers
  • All common areas, daily vacuuming of all carpeted areas, removal of stains, carpet cleaning as needed, mop all tile/hard surfaces daily
  • Must maintain and clean equipment daily to report any repairs to supervisor
  • Attend required in-service education training and staff meetings
  • All other related duties as assigned

What You Will Bring:

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Ability to interact with team members, other staff and residential clientele.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position (Sit/Stand)
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to Navigate and Move around the Facility to provide cleaning services.
