Overview Omega Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated SQL Developer to support ongoing operations in Greenville, SC. We are seeking a highly experienced SQL Developer with a minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience designing, developing, and optimizing complex database solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SQL programming, relational database design, and performance tuning, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions.

Responsibilities Duties: * Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views. * Optimize existing queries and database structures for improved performance and scalability. * Collaborate with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.

* Perform data modeling, schema design, and documentation for new and existing projects. * Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards. * Troubleshoot database-related issues, including performance bottlenecks and query optimization.

* Support ETL processes and contribute to data integration initiatives. * Stay current with emerging database technologies and industry best practices. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Qualifications * Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. * Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a drug and breath alcohol test, along with a Motor Vehicle Record check.

* Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance. * Skilled with building systems to system and systems to SQL integrations using the Microsoft technology stack: SSIS, .NET for custom API integrations, Azure Data Factory, etc. * Working knowledge of data modeling and architecture with Microsoft SQL or Dataverse.

Preferred Qualifications * Possession of an active DOE/DoD clearance within the past two (2) years is preferred. * Previous DOE/NNSA work experience. * Minimum eight (8) years of professional experience as a SQL Developer or Database Developer.

* Advanced proficiency in SQL. * Strong background in relational database management systems. * Proven expertise in query optimization and database performance tuning.

* Experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and reporting tools. * Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices. * Familiarity with version control systems.

* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business terms. * Experience with object-oriented programming including C# is preferred. Work Schedule Shift will be dependent upon customer site discretion.
