What are sponsorship jobs in Turkey?

Sponsorship jobs in Turkey refer to employment opportunities where an employer is willing to sponsor a foreign national’s work permit or visa, allowing them to legally work in the country. These positions are often found in sectors with a shortage of local talent, such as IT, education, tourism, and engineering. Employers must justify hiring a foreign worker by demonstrating that no suitable Turkish candidate is available for the role. Once sponsorship is granted, the employee can obtain the necessary legal documentation to live and work in Turkey. The process involves both the employer and employee submitting required documents to the Turkish Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

What are the typical responsibilities of someone working in a sponsorship role in Turkey?

In a sponsorship role in Turkey, your daily tasks often revolve around identifying potential sponsors, building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners, and negotiating sponsorship agreements. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, events, and sales teams to create compelling sponsorship packages that align with both sponsor objectives and your organization's goals. Additionally, you may be involved in coordinating sponsor activations during events and preparing post-event reports to demonstrate value to sponsors. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to networking within the Turkish market.
