Job description

At Climbing Star, we believe everyone deserves a chance — especially children with special needs. Our mission is to help every child reach their maximum potential while expanding awareness and access to high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.

We are passionate about training and empowering the next generation of Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). As we proudly serve a largely Spanish-speaking community, full bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is at the heart of this role.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and experienced ABA professional who loves teaching and mentoring new team members. In this role, you will play a key part in onboarding, training, and developing our BT/RBT staff — both in the technical use of our systems and in delivering effective, compassionate ABA therapy. All training is delivered using Climbing Star’s established curriculum and materials. We’re looking for someone who brings energy, clarity, and skill to our framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging training sessions on CentralReach (software) and ABA best practices

• Train new and existing BTs/RBTs on technical skills, documentation, data collection, and session management

• Support staff development through hands-on coaching, feedback, and ongoing mentoring

• Help build a strong, knowledgeable, and confident clinical team

• Collaborate with leadership to continuously improve our training programs

Minimum Requirements

• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written) — this is an absolute requirement

• Minimum 1 year hands-on experience using CentralReach (required)

• Proven successful experience training or mentoring BTs and RBTs (technical software + clinical skills)

• Strong knowledge of ABA principles and RBT Task List

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Passion for teaching and helping others grow in the ABA field

• High level of professionalism, reliability, and enthusiasm

What We Offer

• Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children, families, and the ABA community

• Supportive team environment focused on growth and quality care

Location

Brooklyn, NY headquarters or fully remote — whichever works best for the right candidate.
