At SIE, we build internal services that serve our partners across PlayStation studios, the PlayStation platform, and much more. We are hiring a Pricing Strategist to drive the creation of our pricing structures, chargeback designs, and our efforts in intelligently valuing our services. You will be a key member of our infrastructure business operations team.

Success in this role will help our greater organization assess the return on investment for our services and better allocate resources in the future that reflect the value our offerings generate.

Responsibilities:

  • Define pricing strategy for internal services used across the PlayStation organization

  • Lead market analysis efforts to intimately understand the pricing structures of comparable offerings

  • Build pricing best practices based on new and existing pricing methodologies that can help guide our processes on internal chargebacks

  • Conduct pricing research to establish price tolerance, willingness to pay, and value positioning

  • Continually analyze our pricing based on usage and market changes


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data Science or Accounting
  • 5+ years qualified as a pricing strategist or analyst specifically on an B2B infrastructure product or technical service
  • 3+ years of direct hands-on experience designing, scaling, and operating production-grade cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred; GCP or Azure acceptable), including a strong focus on cost optimization, performance, and reliability
  • Strong understanding of cloud compute and storage market dynamics, including cost drivers, pricing models, and competitive offerings
  • Experience building pricing models for internal services based on consumer research, competitive analysis, and proven pricing principles
  • 3+ years of experience using SQL and/or Python to analyze large datasets, generate insights, and inform pricing strategies and business decisions
  • Passionate about the games industry and infrastructure for building modern games

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role's base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
