Job Summary:
Nyla Technology Solutions delivers exceptional Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Software Engineering services for the U.S. Government. They are looking for a Senior DevOps Software Engineer to manage and build robust CI/CD pipelines for mission-critical data and development tools, focusing on automation and system optimization.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and build robust CI/CD pipelines to production environments for mission-critical data and core development tools teams.
• Provide advanced automation, clean system scripting, and robust feature development support to optimize critical monitoring and reporting activities.
Qualifications:
Required:
• ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED
• Clearance: Active Fully-Cleared with Poly
• Linux System Administration: Deep hands-on experience handling file system manipulation, performance monitoring, logging, and infrastructure troubleshooting using command line tools
• CI/CD Automation: Proven expertise designing, deploying, and monitoring automated pipelines to production environments.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Solid understanding of Kubernetes deployment, runtime management, and configuration.
• Container Management: Direct experience deploying, configurations-hardening, and managing Docker containers.
• Workflow Optimization: Strong background driving automated monitoring tools and stability processes within an active software lifecycle.
• Experience: Minimum of fourteen (14) years of professional software engineering or DevOps experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Substitution: Four (4) years of additional software engineering or systems infrastructure experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree (totaling 18 years of experience).
Preferred:
• Cloud Infrastructure: Strong hands-on computing skills and deployment knowledge within AWS.
• Automation Scripting: High proficiency writing clean tools and scripts using Bash, Python, or JavaScript.
• Virtualization: Experience building, configuring, and supporting virtual machines (VMs) using enterprise customer corporate infrastructure.
• Data Flow & Routing: Exposure to data transit orchestration using Apache NiFi.
• Observability & Analytics: Familiarity with data visualization and reporting dashboards like Grafana and Kibana.
• Build Automation: Experience leveraging Jenkins engines for pipeline control.
• Security Hardening: Experience hardening Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) application configurations.
