Senior Informatica Snowflake Data Engineer
Contract: 12 months renewable
Location: Austin, Texas (ONSITE)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Informatica Snowflake Data Engineer to support the development and enhancement of enterprise data integration and analytics platforms. This role will focus on ETL automation, data acquisition, Snowflake SQL development, dimensional modeling, and enterprise reporting solutions within an Agile environment.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Informatica PowerCenter/IICS, Snowflake SQL, enterprise data integration, and data warehousing technologies. This individual will work closely with architects, analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to design scalable, high-performance data solutions supporting analytics and operational reporting initiatives.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience developing ETL mappings and workflows using Informatica PowerCenter or IICS
  • 8+ years of experience integrating data from multiple enterprise data sources including Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, and PDF-based data
  • 8+ years of experience designing and developing complex, optimized Snowflake SQL scripts
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience supporting enterprise analytics, data warehousing, or performance management systems
  • Strong technical writing, documentation, and diagramming skills
  • Experience delivering scalable software platforms across multiple business units
  • Proven ability to write well-designed, testable, and efficient code following software development best practices
  • Proficiency with Visio, Erwin, MS Office Suite, and MS Project
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
  • Experience working with sensitive or regulated data environments
  • Experience developing scripts using Python
  • Experience with JIRA, GitHub, Git Actions, REST/SOAP APIs, Java, JavaScript, and MuleSoft
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools such as Snowflake Cortex, Informatica Claire, or Intelligence
  • Good understanding of enterprise security and data governance principles

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support Agile development activities for enterprise data integration initiatives
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and IICS
  • Acquire and integrate data from multiple enterprise data sources
  • Develop high-performance Snowflake SQL scripts, database views, and dimensional data models
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, analysts, and stakeholders on implementation designs and data acquisition strategies
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, specifications, diagrams, and process flows
  • Develop automated validation and testing processes for ETL and database solutions
  • Participate in sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies
  • Support deployment, enhancement, and operational maintenance of enterprise analytics platforms
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and recommend scalable solutions
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Assist with implementation and configuration of development and automation tools
  • Develop mockups and prototypes to validate business and technical requirements
  • Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and adherence to enterprise standards and best practices
