We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary

This position resides in the Generation Development group and use of this title must be approved by the VP of Generation Development. This position participates in and supports the acquisition, partnership and development of energy infrastructure projects within the electric power generation business. It leads specific project sub-tasks with full responsibility and accountability, coordinating internal and external resources as needed to manage and deliver results. The role provides analytical and coordination support for the evaluation, analysis, and due diligence activities, and supports the negotiation of key contracts and agreements, ensuring a smooth transition to construction and operations. It also performs analyses of highly complex issues and assists in developing recommendations for select opportunities. A moderate to high level of originality and innovation is required.

Additionally, the position participates in executive presentations and engagements with government agencies alongside the director or manager. This role offers foundational knowledge and experience to support advancement to the Generation Development Manager level.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:
5+ years knowledge of the energy business and markets, generally acquired through related work experience. Demonstrated leadership experience with complex analysis, negotiations, and project management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong computer skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or the Sciences.
