Job description

Subway/Dunkin Team Member

Position Overview:
  • A Restaurant Team Member will perform various daily customer service tasks by operating the cash register and serving customers.
  • This will include some basic tasks such as food preparation, safe food handling procedures, inventory control counts, and other tasks as assigned.

Essential Functions:
  • Greet customers as you see them, speak politely, and assist customers.
  • Prepare food following brand standards, specifications, and food safety expectations.
  • Follow company safety and sanitation practices to ensure that the best product is available.
  • Follow and enforce health department/FDA and other key safety regulations as it relates to food handling, storage, and temperature of food (using the Smart Sense temperature monitoring program).
  • Operate a cash register and maintain an accurate and organized drawer.
  • Follow LOVE safety procedures while using a sharp knife, a food slicer, a toaster, an oven, fryers, and other food preparation tools and appliances.
  • Responsible for cleaning and regular maintenance of restaurant equipment.
  • Remove and re-line trash cans, clean and wipe booths, chairs, tables, soda fountains, and condiment stations in the dining area.
  • Perform weekly and monthly projects and assigned tasks.
  • Maintain a safe facility and use safety-first practices to remain accident-free.
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager.
  • Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards.
