Job description

Molina Healthcare of Florida is hiring for a Community Behavioral Health Liaison specializing as a SIPP Navigator. 

Provides support for community behavioral health coordination activities. Acts as a liaison between the business and community behavioral health/chemical dependency agencies to enable the provision of member behavioral health services. Contributes to overarching strategy to provide quality and cost-effective member care.
Essential Job Duties

Serves as liaison between the business and community behavioral health and chemical dependency agencies to facilitate care coordination processes, and ensure provision of behavioral health services as a benefit of managed care.
Participates in community behavioral health service meetings that include the plan, county/health care authority and other behavioral health service agencies.
Ensures program integrity and identifies areas for development.
Ensures adherence of the terms of the memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the business and community service organizations.
Serves as community liaison to behavioral health service advocacy groups, non-contracted community partners, service organizations, etc. specific to behavioral health services.
Assists in community outreach activities to improve awareness of Molina involvement in behavioral health service management and health promotion.
Assists with development and implementation of policies and procedures for referral process, care coordination and other administrative and clinical processes as needed.
Develops and facilitates managed care training for behavioral health, community service organizations and county agencies.
Collaborates with utilization management and care management leadership to coordinate clinical consultation of behavioral health service cases.
25-40% estimated local travel may be required (based upon state/contractual requirements).
 

Required Qualifications

At least 2 years health care experience, including behavioral health and/or social work experience in an outpatient, inpatient or managed care setting, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Clinical licensure and/or certification required ONLY if required by state contract, regulation or state board licensing mandates. If licensed, license must be active and unrestricted in state of practice.
Knowledge of local behavioral health systems, substance abuse conditions and treatment modalities.
Knowledge and practice of harm reduction principles and strategies.
Knowledge of community resources.
Ability to demonstrate proactivity and detail-orientation.
Ability to work within a variety of settings and adjust style as needed - working with diverse populations, various personalities and personal situations.
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and demonstrate self-motivation.
Responsive in all forms of communication, and ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.
Excellent time-management and prioritization skills, and ability to focus on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to change.
Excellent problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Microsoft Office suite/applicable software program(s) proficiency.
For specific markets, "lived experience" may be required.
Preferred Qualifications

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family therapist (LMFT), Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPS), Certified Family Support Worker (CFPSW), or Certified Community Health Worker (CCHW). If licensed, license must be active and unrestricted in state of practice.
Experience coordinating higher levels of behavioral health treatment such as intensive outpatient or partial hospitalization programs, inpatient acute psychiatry and/or substance abuse residential facilities.
Deep knowledge of local mental health/substance abuse systems and social support resources.
