Job Description
We Build with Passion- Clean Harbors Kimball, NE Incineration units are seeking a Shredder Operations Technician to perform hands on operations such as shredder, pallet jack, tank farm operations and offloading vehicle with forklift operations. New Wage $26.50 per hour DOE paid weekly,.4/ 12-hour rotating (days/nights) shifts per week (6a-6p/ 6p-6a). Safety-focused with a desire to advance in career.

Responsibilities
  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
  • Performs basic operations including, but not limited to, drum movement, drum opening, tank farm truck loading/unloading, operation of the shredder device, proper inventory warehousing.
  • Operates a forklift when necessary, Responsible for performing and documenting daily safety check prior to operating.
  • Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements,-Able to use scanning application for dumping and pumping.
  • Ensures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures
  • Reviews all applicable SOP's and satisfactorily completes quizzes
  • Ensures, understands and has ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards
  • Meets or exceeds production goals

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Forklift operation
  • Ability to work in team environment
  • DOT Training
  • Proficiency in Windows based applications
  • Climb on and off forklifts
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs from the ground to your waste
  • Climb up and down vertical ladders
  • Capable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force
  • 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected - depth perception is critical
  • 10 pushups, deep knee squats and sit-ups (to determine if fit)
  • Good hand/eye coordination
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Punctuality and attendance required
  • Respirator fit test upon hire- clean shaven face required (mustache okay!)
  • Background check, drug screen and physical- required
  • Updated resume required
