Summary

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring that DSV's transportation and logistics operations meet industry standards and customer requirements. The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for implementing quality assurance procedures, managing audits, and overseeing compliance with regulations and standards.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures for transportation and logistics operations.
  • Monitor compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address non-conformances.
  • Review and approve quality-related documentation, such as standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Analyze data and implement improvements to processes and procedures.
  • Train employees on quality assurance procedures and standards.
  • Communicate with customers and regulatory agencies as necessary to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and manage quality metrics and key performance indicators.

 

Educational background / Work experience

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, logistics, engineering, or quality management is typically required. A Master's degree may be preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance in the transportation and logistics industry is usually required.
  • Experience managing audits and implementing corrective actions is preferred.

  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Language skills

  • Fluent in English (oral and written)

Computer Literacy

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, as well as experience with quality management software or other relevant tools, is typically required.

For this position, the expected base pay range is $70,304.00 - $93,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, skills, education or certifications, and geographic location, consistent with applicable laws and company policy.
