Position Introduction/Key Duties
Cimarron is seeking an Associate DevOps Developer to join the engineering analytics team located in Seal Beach, CA.
Key Duties:
  • Apply modern DevSecOps / GitOps practices (including CI/CD pipelines, automated configuration/testing, containerized deployments, and infrastructure as code) to streamline integration and test activities.
  • Stand up, configure, and maintain secure test environments leveraging cloud-native and virtualized resources.
  • Drive continuous improvement of integration and test processes, incorporating automation, metrics, and lessons learned to increase efficiency and reliability.
  • Automate, develop, monitor, improve, and troubleshoot across development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, configuration processes, and security controls.
  • Review, develop, document, and maintain system requirements and traceability.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external customers.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with an adjudicated polygraph.
  • 2 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Linux.
  • Experience with Ansible software platform.
  • Experience with Terraform software.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:
  • Experience with Packer, Nessus, and Trivy DevSecOps tools.
  • Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, mutual Transport Layer Security (mTLS), cert-manager, Harbor, Postgres, and Windows.
  • Experience with Shell and Python Scripting.
  • Experience working with Government customers.
  • Active CompTIA Security+ certification.
