We are seeking a data-driven, creative, and performance-focused Digital Marketing Manager to lead and execute our entire digital marketing strategy across paid media, organic growth, local search visibility, social media, and emerging AI-driven search platforms.

Position Overview

The Digital Marketing Manager will own the companyโ€™s digital growth strategy from end to end. This role is responsible for driving qualified lead generation, increasing brand visibility, improving local market dominance, and optimizing customer acquisition performance across all digital channels.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and has deep experience in performance marketing, SEO, local search optimization, social media advertising, content strategy, analytics, and conversion optimization.

This role is especially suited for someone who understands both traditional search marketing and the rapidly evolving AI-powered discovery landscape, including LLMEO (Large Language Model Engine Optimization).

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Lead Generation

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies that support company growth goals across solar and roofing services.
  • Manage customer acquisition funnels from awareness to conversion.
  • Optimize marketing spend and maximize ROI across all digital channels.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to improve lead quality, conversion rates, and attribution reporting.
  • Build and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing plans.

Paid Media (PPC)

  • Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across:
    • Google Ads
    • YouTube Ads
    • Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
    • Retargeting platforms
  • Monitor campaign KPIs including CPL, ROAS, CTR, CAC, and conversion rates.
  • Conduct keyword research, audience segmentation, A/B testing, and landing page optimization.
  • Scale successful campaigns while maintaining profitability.

SEO & Local Search Optimization

  • Lead all SEO initiatives including:
    • Technical SEO
    • On-page optimization
    • Local SEO
    • Content strategy
    • Link-building initiatives
  • Optimize Google Business Profiles and local directory presence for multiple markets.
  • Improve organic rankings for high-intent local search terms related to solar and roofing.
  • Monitor website health, indexing, page speed, and search performance metrics.

LLMEO (AI Search Optimization)

  • Develop strategies to improve visibility within AI-driven search and recommendation platforms.
  • Optimize web content for large language model discoverability and answer engine relevance.
  • Implement structured content and semantic optimization strategies.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI search behavior and generative search experiences.

Social Media & Content Marketing

  • Oversee organic and paid social media strategy across:
    • Instagram
    • Facebook
    • YouTube
    • Emerging platforms as needed
  • Develop engaging content calendars aligned with brand messaging and lead generation goals.
  • Coordinate video content, testimonials, educational campaigns, and community engagement.
  • Manage social media performance metrics and audience growth initiatives.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report on marketing KPIs using tools such as:
    • Google Analytics
    • Google Search Console
    • Meta Business Suite
    • CRM and marketing automation platforms
  • Build executive-level dashboards and performance reports.
  • Use data insights to continuously optimize campaign performance and marketing strategy.

Website & Conversion Optimization

  • Collaborate with designers and developers to improve user experience and conversion rates.
  • Manage landing pages, CTAs, lead forms, and conversion tracking.
  • Conduct A/B testing and funnel optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience with proven lead generation success.
  • Strong experience managing PPC campaigns with significant monthly ad spend.
  • Deep understanding of SEO, local SEO, and technical SEO best practices.
  • Experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and CRM platforms.
  • Knowledge of social media marketing strategies and content development.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred

  • Experience in solar, roofing, home services, construction, or related industries.
  • Experience with AI search optimization / LLMEO strategies.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel, or similar CRM systems.
  • Video marketing and YouTube growth experience.
  • Experience managing agencies or freelance creative teams.
