Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Guard?

What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Your strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths. 

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 1600-0000 2 week rotation

Location:L8L 8K5

Responsibilities for Surveillance Security Guard
  • Access control
  • Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to identify vandalism, unauthorized access, or suspicious activities.
  • Perform routine patrols and complete required checkpoint scans to ensure site security.
  • Enforce PPE compliance and ensure all yard safety procedures and regulations are followed.
  • Manage access control by verifying visitor and vehicle identification before granting entry.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or potential security threats.
  • Prepare detailed incident and activity reports with accurate documentation of observations.
  • Conduct regular foot patrols to maintain the safety and security of the premises.
  • Inspect and monitor security systems to identify vulnerabilities or equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications for a Surveillance Security Guard
  • Be authorized to work in Canada
  • Hold a valid security license
  • First aid certification
  • Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
  • Strong proficiency with technology
  • Apply strong communication and de-escalation skills when handling conflicts or sensitive situations.
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout shift 
  • 1 years of ecurity expereince preferably in industrial setting
