About the Company:

For two decades, New Age Protection (New Age) has provided cutting-edge services, support, and solutions in Industrial Security, Technology, Logistics, and Professional Services to all levels of government and the education and commercial sectors.


*This position requires the possession of a NM state issued Guard Card, Level 3.*
08:30-5:30pm *Hours may vary by one hour*
2:00-10pm *Must be willing to work at least one Weekend day*
10:00pm- 6:00am *Must be willing to work at least one Weekend day*

Shifts: Full-Time and Part Time Availability, Day Shift, Swing Shift, and Graveyard / Overnight Shift

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct foot patrols.
  • Using tour tracking software in order to complete daily duties effectively.
  • Be able to maintain and keep employee and visitor access logs.
  • Formulate comprehensive incident reports, as needed.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies, when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Possess and maintain a NM Guard Card, Level 3
  • 3-4 years of Armed security experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Having knowledge on general security standards and methods within an industry
  • Baton Permit
  • Taser Permit (Optional)
  • OC Spray Certification
  • Handcuffs Certification
  • New Mexico Firearms License

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
  • Have the ability to climb stairs, ramps, and occasionally ladders.
  • Frequently needing to bend, twist, kneel, reach, and / or grasp.
  • Have the ability to lift and / or carry-up to 40 pounds.
  • Running, as needed.
