Security Supervisor Job Summary

United Security Services, Inc., seeks to employ a Security Supervisor for a detail located in Renton, WA. With nearly 100 years of experience, we’ve built a reputation as one of the most trusted and established security providers in the country. The Security Supervisor is responsible for daily security operations. This role also involves coordinating with local law enforcement and other emergency responders as necessary.

Security Supervisor Job Responsibilities:

  1. Security Operations Oversight:
  1. Assist in the enforcement of security policies and procedures.
  1. Monitor security personnel to ensure they are effectively carrying out their duties.
  1. Ensure that all areas are adequately monitored for security risks.
  1. Surveillance System monitoring and review.
  1. Emergency Response Management:
  1. Respond promptly to all security incidents, emergencies, or alarms (fire, medical, or security threats).
  1. Coordinate with local authorities (police, fire department, etc.) during emergency situations or investigations.
  1. Team Supervision and Training:
  1. Assist in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of security staff.
  1. Schedule shifts and manage team performance to ensure coverage at all times.
  1. Reporting and Documentation:
  1. Prepare and maintain accurate reports regarding incidents, investigations, and daily activities.
  1. Maintain records of security equipment and ensure proper functioning.
  1. Complete incident reports and log entries, ensuring compliance with policies and legal standards.
  1. Complete all necessary payroll for on-site employees.

Security Supervisor Job Requirements:

Experience:

  • Minimum one year experience in security management.
  • Three years' experience as a Security Officer
  • Security Officer Certification
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Crisis Management or Emergency Response Training (preferred).
  • Military or Law enforcement background

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and patrol the property for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry items up to a certain weight (e.g., security equipment).
