We offer the highest pay rates among staffing providers, with $22/hour for Assistant Teacher Positions and $25/hour for Associate Teacher Positions. We care about our educators and want to give you the tools to excel within your role. We listen to your preferences and provide you with a consultant and ongoing training support to help continue to develop your skills.

Requirements: Minimum of 12 or more passing credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development courses. Infant or toddler preferred Available 3 - 5 Days a week from Monday to Friday Can commit to 8 hours shifts, between the time of 7 AM - 5:30 PM. At least six months experience working with children in a group setting or Head Start program experience Certified in Pediatric First Aid and Pediatric CPR + 8 hours of additional Health and Safety Training Responsibilities Provide careful and effective supervision of children's activities as assigned by the Site Director and Program Director.

Maintain appropriate standards and rules for children's behavior. Disciplinary methods used are non-punitive, supporting children's self-esteem while teaching self-discipline. Cooperate with other staff to create and maintain a harmonious and efficient environment.

Facilitate and nurture the development of each child's self-esteem, trust, and growing autonomy. Facilitate program curriculum planning and supervision of age-appropriate activities that enrich academic skills, linguistic abilities, cultural and recreational experiences and create positive learning experiences.. Interact positively with parents and refer questions and concerns to the Site Director or Program Director as appropriate

Identify problems and crises related to children and report them to the Site Director or Program Director as appropriate. Assist Teacher with meal counts, absent slips, and sign-in/sing-out sheets. Call parents as directed by the Teacher or Site Director.

Potty train as needed. Implement all Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) rules and regulations as it applies to breakfast, lunch, and snacks being served such as ensuring all children serve themselves the correct portion size. Sub as a Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) cooks as needed and follows rules and regulations as it applies to the kitchen.

Minimum Qualifications Have a minimum or 6 ECE or Child Development credits with a passing grade or possess an Assistant or Associate Teacher permit to the standards of the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Complete a TB test and a Health Assessment Form with your Healthcare Provider Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certified with 8 additional hours of EMSA approved Health and Safety Training. Ability to sit on the floor, bend at the waist, kneel and/or stoop 75% of the time.

Ability to lift infants and toddlers weighing up to thirty-five (35) pounds. Must show evidence of a successful Health Screening as required by Community Care Licensing on a yearly basis.
