Job description

Deloitte Tax LLP seeks a Tax Managing Director in San Francisco, California.
Work You'll Do
Maintain and develop strong relationships with diverse clients across various industries and sectors. Sell and deliver large enterprise level contracting lifecycle management (CLM) assessment and implementation projects. Lead a team of experienced professionals to help clients transform and efficiently manage all aspects of the contract lifecycle, leveraging artificial intelligence, integrations, and SaaS technologies. Lead a first-class consultative services to our clients through leading the engagement lifecycle, writing eminence, process assessment, and coaching and mentoring junior practitioners. Responsible for the development of business and vendor relationships. Responsible for project(s) financials including development of financial plans. Manage day-to-day interactions with clients and Deloitte team. Establish relationships in strategic client positions, and lead and facilitate these relationships. Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities providing input and guidance into the staffing process.
Requirements
Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus six (6) years of experience as a Tax Managing Director or related occupation designing and implementing Contract Lifecycle (CLM) and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes in the Life Sciences and Technology industries.
In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree and eight (8) years of experience as stated above.
Experience must include six (6) years of:
  • managing, leading, and implementing large global projects of at least 25 project members and at least $4 million in value, including developing proposals, pricing models, and timelines, staffing, budgeting, creating collaboration platforms, delivering presentations to senior executives, and closing out projects;
  • designing and tracking PMO activities, including workshop schedules, project charters, project plans, change scope, status reports, deliverable tracking and completion, and RAID log tracking and completion, using project management tools, including MS Project, JIRA, HP PPM, and Clarizen;
  • designing CLM and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, requirements, and accelerators, and building, testing, and deploying details, including dynamic requests, business rules, libraries, workflows reporting, notifications, obligation management, test strategy, and scripts;
  • managing CLM design and implementation, including contract authoring, negotiations of T&Cs, amendments, and contract compliance on both buy and sell sides utilizing Icertis, Coupa, SAP, Ariba, Conga, and SirionLabs SaaS platforms;
  • developing upstream sourcing and downstream procurement processes for procurement contracts;
  • developing upstream CPQ (Configure, Price, and Quote)/CRM and downstream sales ordering processes for commercial/sell side contracts;
  • utilizing SaaS solutions tools, including Icertis, SirionLabs, Conga, Coupa, Ariba, and Salesforce, to perform contract management, sourcing, and procurement;
  • utilizing APIs and leading design practices to integrate with backend applications for both master and transactional data, including SAP, Oracle, Informatica, Workday, and SailPoint;
  • designing and executing legacy contract migration activities using data extraction technologies to extract standard and derived data, and transform and load data into CLM applications; and
  • designing processes and systems to manage interdependence between functional design integrations architecture and data migration activities.
Position requires approximately 50% domestic travel.
