Job description

URBN is looking for a Manager of Corporate FP&A to play a key role on the Financial Planning & Analysis team for URBN, reporting directly to the Director of FP&A. This role owns critical planning and reporting workflows across the enterprise, including forecasting, and the annual budget process. The ideal candidate is a self-directed finance professional with strong analytical instincts, deep knowledge of retail P&L drivers, and the ability to translate data into clear, executive-ready narratives.  


  • Own the preparation and integrity of daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting and presentations distributed to brand partners and executive leadership
  • Own the monthly forecasting process, including brand reviews; maintain a strong command of cost drivers and P&L sensitivities across the portfolio
  • Drive the annual budget process, including key metrics review, system uploads, and executive-ready presentations for the leadership team
  • Lead ad hoc and decision-support analysis for the Director of FP&A and senior leadership, including scenario modeling and strategic business case development
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of FP&A deliverables
  • Serve as a liaison between corporate FP&A and brand finance teams, building strong cross-functional partnerships across URBN departments

  • 5+ years’ experience in Finance, FP&A, or Accounting, ideally in a fast-paced retail or consumer environment
  • Experience with financial systems, specifically Oracle Hyperion & MicroStrategy preferred
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Highly detail oriented with strong organizational & critical thinking skills
  • Experience in actuals vs budget variance analysis
