Job Description

ProSidian is seeking Professional Development Coaches to support strategic initiatives at Theย Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) - Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). Coaching services will be remote (via phone or web conference)

Professional Development Coaches will be responsible for (8) eight one-on-one coaching sessions delivered in (8) eight 60-minute sessions to assist HRSA employees in the workplace with professional growth in the areas of improved skills and performance as influenced by changes in the organization, organizational philosophies or other factors.

  • The Coach must demonstrate knowledge of human and organizational behaviors, leadership development, change management, and/or organization design practices and theories. Duties associated with this role may include but are not limited to:
  • Supporting employees with actions to become more effective high performing employees.
  • Assisting the employee in reinforcing competencies, enhancing performance, and helping to ensure that employees can fully and effectively contribute to the success of the organization's mission and vision.
  • Meeting with clients, clarifying their specific objectives, helping clients embrace their potential for growth and improvement, and developing strategies that helps clients achieve their goals.
  • Facilitating organizational changes, which can involve working with recently promoted executives or managers to help them effectively adapt to their roles, or support leadership and management with effecting.
  • Maintaining adequate levels of coaching supplies and materials to design, deliver and maintain core career development training curriculum, and conduct periodic needs assessments.
  • Designing, reviewing, and analyzing materials and forms for career coaching and other related activities.
Qualifications
  • Must be US Citizen and Clearable
  • Knowledgeable of human and organizational behaviors, leadership development, change management, and/or organization design practices and theories.
  • Knowledgeable of organization strategies to achieve organization and team effectiveness.
  • Knowledgeable of coaching, change management, performance monitoring and business acumen.
  • Knowledgeable of word processing, database, spreadsheet, and software applications.
  • Knowledgeable of the principles of management and leadership.
  • Knowledgeable of virtual meeting platforms, such as GoToWebinar, Zoom, and Google Meet.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
  • Skilled in writing, effective communication, and use of the English language.
  • Skilled in designing, reviewing, and analyzing materials and forms.
  • Skilled in organizing, attention to detail, and creating and improving processes.
  • Skilled in effective interpersonal communication.
  • Skilled in supporting employees with actions to become more effective high performing employees.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • Ability to perform expert consulting and technical services.
  • Ability to advise, coach, facilitate, and collaborate with leadership to effect organizational change.
  • Ability to assist the employee in reinforcing competencies, enhancing performance, and helping to ensure that employees can fully and effectively contribute to the success of the organization's mission and vision.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining effective organization.

Additional Information

Education:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university

Certification: Valid ICF Credential Coach certification a plus but not mandatory.

Experience:
