Position Summary

Resident Assistants play a vital role in delivering hands-on care, promoting independence, and enhancing the resident experience. This is more than a jobโ€”itโ€™s a calling to provide dignity, respect, and joy to those we serve.

Job Type: PRN

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (Day or Night) โ€“ Flexible Scheduling Available

Key Responsibilities

- Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and mobility
- Respond promptly and compassionately to call alerts
- Support meal prep, service, and assistance during meals
- Encourage engagement in enrichment activities
- Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming living spaces
- Provide positioning, transfers, and transport as needed
- Document care provided accurately
- Promote dignity, privacy, and resident independence
- Follow HIPAA, safety procedures, and all policies
- Contribute to a culture of positivity and teamwork

Qualifications

Required:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and people skills
- Team player with a caring heart
- Ability to pass a background check

Preferred:

- Caregiving or healthcare experience
- CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to get certified)

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Long periods of walking or standing
- Frequent movement, reaching, bending, and lifting
