Job description

This is the start of an outstanding career in the beer industry for any night owls who love to work in a warehouse environment. Whenever you see one of our beer trucks rolling down the road, there is a team of professional warehouse associates whose mission is to fulfill customer orders and prepare them for delivery. Our Order Selectors/Product Handlers work in a fast-paced warehouse environment making sure our customers' businesses are fully stocked with our wide range of beers and beverages.
Job Duties:
  1. Using an electric pallet jack, voice collecting system and forklift, loads per the Load Sheet, and of-loads package, draught and box trucks according to Anheuser-Busch and Company Code Date Policy and material handling procedure.
  2. Using a forklift, off-loads trucks according to Anheuser-Busch and Company Code Date Policy and material handling procedure.
  3. Stores received product in warehouse according to Anheuser-Busch and Company Code Date Policy and procedure.
  4. Column stacks product by hand to maximize effective utilization of space on Route Trucks.
  5. Hand stacks mixed pallets of product as required.
  6. Repacks damaged product for resale.
  7. Reports obvious vehicular mechanical/safety problems to supervisor and/or fleet Department.
  8. Helps maintain clean, safe working environment at all times.
  9. Adheres to strict safe working practices, Company policies, rules, regulations, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports to supervisor if not immediately correctable.
  10. Other job duties as assigned

Rate of $17.75 per hour includes shift differential.
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. One year directly related (order selecting, etc.) work/job experience required.
  2. High School diploma or GED required.
  3. Read, write and speak English.
  4. Handle alcohol and work within T.A.B.C Guidelines.
  5. Ability to continuously lift/carry/push/pull 20+lbs with occasional kegs weighing 161lbs.
  6. Prior forklift/warehouse equipment experience preferred however, on-the-job training is available.

Physical Requirements:
  1. Talk, hear, read, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.)
  2. Continuous standing and walking throughout the work day.
