Experience Required: 10+ years An applicationWorkday project manager understands the strategic objectives of the client and business users, provides technical project management, directs and manages project development from beginning to end, defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, as well as develop full scale project plans and communications documents. Job Summary: Non-IT Project Managers plan, budget, monitor and report on the project with project management tools, sometimes pitching the idea of the project or being assigned to it once it's already been approved. The project manager is the bridge between upper management and the teams tasked with the actual execution of the project. They make sure the scope of the project is sound, reporting regularly on the progress of the project and that it is staying on the approved schedule.
Primary Responsibilities:
Plan and manage business projects, and make sure they are completed on time, meet the needs of the client and stay within budget.
Determine what the client or company wants to achieve.
Create timelines; and determine costs and resources needed.
Generate a detailed plan and schedule for each stage of the project.
Provide direction and coaching on project specific tasks.
Select supporting staff and lead a project team.
Negotiate with contractors and suppliers for materials and/or services.
Ensure that each stage is progressing on time, on budget and to the processes and quality standards of the company.
Develop & implement processes for PM teams to complete activities to current policies and practices; keep documentation organized; identify process improvements.
Manage team to create and execute project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Report the project progress to senior managers and the client.

  • JOB SUMMARY
    This role sits in Information Technology and plays responsible for managing and coordinating multiple projects in support HR & Payroll with specific focus on Equity/Stock. This includes all aspects of a project life cycle such as project planning, development, change control, implementation, issue management, customer relationships, and team leadership.
    This person will need to maintain a high level of customer service while balancing associate needs in a fast paced and changing work environment.
    what you will be doing:
    • Work with project teams, customers, other Project Managers, and management to prioritize requirements and develop and maintain multiple project plans using approved tools.
    • Establish and coordinate the plan for migration of projects into production. Manage customer expectations and communicate with other groups as needed to insure successful implementation.
    • Ensure coordination of multiple project delivery dates against estimates to keep the projects on schedule and within budget and scope.
    • Maintain open and constant communication among internal team, customers, and management regarding project status. Perform analyses for changes to scope and negotiate/recommend course of action or escalate as appropriate.
    • Guide and direct the efforts of others to ensure that project team members communicate status and issues as appropriate.
    • Maintain a log of all project-related issues, and escalate to management, Business Systems Analyst, or other appropriate parties, as necessary. Coordinate the resolution of issues and communicate resolution to all appropriate parties.
    • Serve in a liaison role between application vendors, internal IT groups, and end users.
    • Ensure adherence to defined standards.
