HammerHead, located in Lake Mills, Wisconsin is a division of The Toro Company. HammerHead delivers a unique combination of rehabilitation, replacement and installation equipment and consumables for the underground construction market. Offering unmatched field support and project consultation to customers worldwide.ย 

The Sales Manager for Rehabilitation and Replacement (R&R) reports to the Sr, Sales Manager and is responsible for leading our regional teams for our mainline business.ย  The Sales Manager maximizes R&R sales capacity and regional success by working closely with Regional Managers, Market Development, Product Support, and Customer Finance partnerships. The Sales Manager helps develop, and then implements, strategic factory programs to drive direct sales.ย  This individual is also responsible for fostering a positive and mutually beneficial business relationship between the HammerHead organization and our customers by conducting their activities with the highest degree of integrity, efficiency, and professionalism.ย โ€‹ย 

What Will You Do?โ€ฏย 

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:โ€ฏย โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹

  • Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives and goals for R&R mainline business
  • Directly manage major & critical accounts to maximize & grow sales opportunities with your assigned teams
  • Actively participate in monthly sales meetings, forecast meetings, product meetings & market share analysis.ย  Gather & communicate monthly market, customer & product intelligence with the appropriate person & groups at company
  • Have a strong working knowledge of all products marketed by the company.ย  Use that knowledge to implement & communicate all programs & promotions to maximize sales & market share within your teamsโ€™ regions
  • Set sales performance and individual goals for your teamsโ€™ & leverage entire companyโ€™s organization to achieve it
  • Follow up on lead generation from our marketing and inside sales team by working closely with your teams and getting our RSMโ€™s involved when needed
  • Provides daily / weekly input on all pipeline activity (opportunities) and managing the stages of the deals on mainline products with your team
  • Lead and manage forecasting on our mainline products and mainline rental fleet products
  • Manage expenses at or below budgeted levels

What Do You Need?โ€ฏย 

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:โ€ฏย โ€‹

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field required
  • 5+ years relevant sales or industry experience
  • Be able to develop and implement strategic business plans and comprehensive sales programs.
  • Valid US driverโ€™s license
  • Demonstrate excellent communications skills, along with the ability to make effective group presentations
  • Be able to develop and adhere to a department budget
  • Have appropriate correspondence, record keeping, and PC skills (particularly word processing and spreadsheet applications).
  • Demonstrated record of working in close collaborative team environments with various functions within an organization, to lead and drive successful results.
  • Travel requirements estimated at 60 - 75% overnight travel. Position is remote #LI-Remote
