Title: Software Architect - Salesforce Administrator

Interview Mode: Webcam

Duration: 12 months

Location:- Columbia, SC—Fully Remote

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:

As a Salesforce Administrator at the client location, you will play a pivotal role in he daily maintenance, enhancement, and integration of our Salesforce instance. You will be responsible for managing user changes, monitoring workflow queues, and performing various administrative functions to support our business operations. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with external integrations, including AWS Connect, ServiceNow, and Azure AD, to ensure seamless data flow and system connectivity.

 USER MANAGEMENT: CREATE, MODIFY, AND DEACTIVATE USER ACCOUNTS, PROFILES, AND PERMISSION SETS AS NEEDED. ENSURE USER ACCESS AND SECURITY ARE MAINTAINED ACCORDING TO BEST PRACTICES.

2. SANDBOX MANAGEMENT: CREATE AND MANAGE SANDBOX ENVIRONMENTS FOR DEVELOPMENT, TESTING AND QUALITY ASSURANCE PURPOSES. COLLABORATE WITH THE DEVELOPMENT TEAM TO PROMOTE CODE MODIFICATIONS AND UPDATES BETWEEN ENVIRONMENTS.

3. WORKFLOW MONITORING: MONITOR WORKFLOW QUEUES AND AUTOMATION PROCESSES TO ENSURE THEY ARE FUNCTIONING AS INTENDED. TROUBLESHOOT AND RESOLVE AND WORKFLOW-RELATED ISSUES PROMPTLY.

4. EXTERNAL INTEGRATIONS: COLLABORATE WITH TEAMS RESPONSIBLE FOR EXTERNAL INTEGRATIONS, SUCH AS AWS CONNECT, SERVICE NOW, AND AZURE AD. CONFIGURE AND MAINTAIN THESE INTEGRATIONS TO ENSURE DATA SYNCHRONIZATION AND SYSTEM INTEROPERABILITY.

5. IDENTITY PROVIDER CONFIGURATION: CONFIGURE AND MAINTAIN IDENTITY PROVIDERS WITH A FOCUS AN AZURE AD, FOR AUTHENTICATION AND SINGLE SIGN ON (SSO) FUNCTIONALITY WITHIN SALESFORCE. ENSURE SECURE AND EFFICIENT ACCESS MANAGEMENT.

6. DOCUMENTATION: MAINTAIN COMPREHENSIVE DOCUMENTATION OF SALESFORCE CONFIGURATIONS, PROCESSES AND CUSTOMIZATIONS. PROVIDE TRAINING AND SUPPORT TO END USERS AS NEEDED.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/DUTIES:

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

- Salesforce Administrator certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator.)

- 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with a strong focus on daily maintenance tasks

REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

A bachelor's degree in information technology systems, computer science, or related field and

5+ experience in Information Technology or related area. Relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree on a year-for- year basis

PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

-Practical experience in creating and managing Salesforce sandbox environments.

- Proficiency in promoting code modifications and updates between Salesforce environments.

- Familiarity with external integrations, including AWS Connect, ServiceNow, and Azure AD 

CJIS Certification will be a requirement of employment, this training is based provided by the State of SC after a successful background check is completed.
