Job description

Come join our amazing team and work remote from home! Work schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M or 7:30 A.M to 4:00 P.M PST.

The Foreclosure Specialist Team Lead will be responsible for providing support, workflow guidance, and training to staff within the foreclosure department to ensure all foreclosure loan activities are managed accurately and in a timely manner, in full compliance with applicable state foreclosure requirements. Performs all duties in alignment with company policies and procedures, as well as all relevant state and federal laws and regulations governing the company's operations. The Target Pay range for this position is $28.00 to $33.00.

What you'll do:

  • Review and process quality control reports, identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor team performance, identify opportunities for improvement and revise processes or provide training as needed.
  • Oversee assigned team's daily full foreclosure workflow, including updating tracking steps, adjusting schedules, processing reinstatements/payoffs, and ensuring accurate, timely progression through all required actions.
  • Provided workflow direction and assistance with escalated issues to staff as needed.
  • Communicate with attorneys and trustees through LenStar, provide requested documentation, review and prepare foreclosurerelated documents, and notarize items needed to advance files.
  • Monitor foreclosure sales, thirdparty funds, deed issuance, and transitions to REO or claim filing; ensure investor notifications and reporting (PMI, VA, FHA, SFDMS) are completed on time.
  • Review fees, approve invoices within required time limits, verify compliance with investor/insurer allowable cost schedules, and ensure accurate tax and insurance status.
  • Identify, escalate, and coordinate resolution of exception cases (e.g., tax sales, contested actions), while documenting all activity and maintaining IRS 1099A/1099C reporting.
  • Track pipeline performance using department reports, oversee vendor performance, ensure timely imaging of documents, and provide management with monthly KPI reporting.
  • Function as backup to Supervisor when needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support department operations.

What you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience; some college preferred.
  • Five (5) plus years banking/mortgage experience and/or five (5) plus years as a Foreclosure Specialist.
  • Notary license preferred, or ability and desire to obtained for the position.
  • Strong knowledge of the foreclosure process, including differences between judicial and nonjudicial states; experienced with systems such as Loanserv, Tempo, OnBase.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) with strong communication, organizational, analytical, and timemanagement skills.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a notary license, make moderateimpact decisions, and organize shortterm work schedules effectively.
