JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The School of Music is searching for a project coordinator to lead the Pitch Exploration Lab. This person is responsible for completing all documents necessary for continuing IRB approval, the day-to-day management of projects and project personnel: creating and updating procedure manuals, keeping track of subject recruitment, retention, the administration of consent protocols, training new project staff. Sometimes the Coordinator may assist in coding and checking of data from scorers, cleaning and coding data, maintaining equipment (laptops, microphone), and conducting random checks of study procedures to ensure adherence and accuracy.

This person should have excellent communication skills, including presentation and software skills. The Manager organizes and disseminates information related to student funding, lab funding, and project funding including adherence to deadlines. This person sometimes serves as a representative of the lab, as well as organizes visits by guests or visits to other inside/outside centers and institutions.
