What is remote GIS drafting?

Remote GIS drafting is the process of creating, editing, and managing digital maps and spatial data using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software, all while working from a location outside of a traditional office. GIS drafters use specialized tools to convert raw geographic data into detailed, accurate maps for various applications such as urban planning, environmental management, and infrastructure development. Working remotely allows GIS professionals to access and modify spatial datasets, collaborate with teams, and deliver mapping solutions from virtually anywhere with an internet connection.
