Location: Seattle, WA or San Francisco, CA (Full-time, Partially Remote)
We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of technology solutions that support the firm's core business processes. This role defines business requirements and enables technical execution for LNW systems across CRM, portfolio management, reporting, and operations work. The ideal candidate understands the technology architecture, client service demands, and operational workflows of a modern wealth management firm.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Solutions Architecture
  • Translate business challenges into scalable system designs and technology solutions.
  • Design end-to-end system architectures spanning CRM, portfolio accounting, trading, and operational platforms.
  • Support Project Management, prioritization and sequencing of solution delivery.
  • Define integration patterns between enterprise systems including APIs, messaging, and data pipelines.
  • Deliver technical and user focused documentation

Business Process & System Design
  • Partner with business leaders to analyze workflows and identify opportunities for automation or agentic technology-driven improvements.
  • Design solutions that streamline the client lifecycle including onboarding, portfolio management, reporting, and billing.
  • Develop responsible, data privacy focused solutions by identifying practical opportunities to apply artificial intelligence (AI) across business workflows, client service operations, and investment processes.
  • Document system architecture and integration patterns for long-term maintainability.

Platform Expertise
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Salesforce and related CRM technologies.
  • Develop and optimize Salesforce data models, workflows, and SOQL-based data access.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Portfolio Accounting and Trading Platforms.
  • Collaborate on integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise platforms.

Technology Delivery
  • Guide implementation teams through solution design and architecture decisions.
  • Balance enterprise-grade architecture with the agility required for a fast-moving technology team.
  • Ensure delivered solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with firm technology standards.

Quality Assurance
  • Test and validate solutions are delivered according to requirements. Provide technical signoff.
  • Manage defect resolution log, clearly identifying changes needed, status, and delivery to meet specifications.
  • Reduce technical debt and identify fast follow opportunities.

More About You
Experience and Education
  • 5+ years of experience making an impact in solution architecture, systems architecture, or enterprise application.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Salesforce including data models, workflows, and SOQL.
  • Experience designing integrations between enterprise SaaS platforms and internal data systems.
  • Strong understanding of business process design and systems thinking.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical designs.

Preferred Skills and Attributes
  • Experience in wealth management, asset management, RIA, Trust Services or financial services.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, portfolio accounting platforms, trading systems, and investment operations tools.
  • Understanding of data architecture, reporting systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Experience working in high-growth technology environments where agility and ownership are deeply valued.

Compensation and Benefits
We provide a competitive salary commensurate with your experience and skills and offer an annual bonus based on company and individual performance. The hiring salary range for this position in Seattle is $150,000 to $175,000 and in San Francisco is $160,000 to $177,000, depending on experience.
The salary range applies to the current posting and may change in the future. The range may vary based on key factors such as education, job-related knowledge, experience, skill set, and geographic location.
