Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Sales Compensation Analyst to support a short-term engagement focused on administering and optimizing sales compensation programs. This role will play a critical part in ensuring accurate commission calculations, maintaining system integrity, and supporting ongoing compensation operations during a period of high demand.


This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with hands-on Xactly expertise who can quickly step in and add value in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

โ€ข Oversee daily sales compensation activities in Xactly to keep core processes running accurately and on schedule.

โ€ข Prepare and process monthly and quarterly incentive calculations by gathering sales data, applying plan logic, and confirming payout accuracy.

โ€ข Review compensation results against expected outcomes and investigate discrepancies before final submission.

โ€ข Maintain data quality across compensation records and support smooth execution throughout the financial close cycle.

โ€ข Partner with internal stakeholders to address operational issues, clarify compensation-related questions, and improve reporting visibility.

โ€ข Perform financial and variance analysis to identify trends, exceptions, and areas requiring follow-up within compensation data.

โ€ข Create ad hoc analyses and data-driven insights to support leadership decision-making during the transition period.

Requirements:
