Job description

Elevate Patient Financial Solutions has an exciting career opportunity available as an AR Follow-Up Supervisor in their Medical Insurance Follow Up Department. This position will be Remote. The Full Time schedule for this role will be Monday-Friday, 8-5, but may require some flexibility.
Job Summary

The AR Follow-Up Supervisor is responsible for the AR Follow-Up Specialists who will report directly to him/her. The AR Follow-Up Supervisor must be available on a day-to-day basis to answer questions by AR Follow-Up Specialists, take higher level account issues, and educate their team members on new company policies and changes to existing policies. AR Follow-Up Supervisors will continuously mentor and train AR Follow-Up Specialists as well as monitor and keep track of their metrics. The AR Follow-Up Supervisor will report to the AR Follow-Up Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create amp; maintain standard quality audit process.
  • Perform monthly quality audits and reviews.
  • Monitor workload, verify tasks are being worked in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Conduct quarterly performance reviews for direct reports.
  • Create amp; maintain a standardized training process.
  • Train all new employees in the department.
  • Maintain department training and operations manual.
  • Semi-annual refresher training and other training as necessary.
  • Conduct monthly team meetings, monthly check in meetings with each team member and monthly Process Improvement meetings.
  • Communicate and follow up with call center management and staff regarding process changes.
  • Communicate amp; follow up with staff regarding policies and procedures and any changes.
  • Evaluation of and decision-making regarding department procedures.
  • Schedule and distribute tasks as needed.
  • Monitor and track attendance in Management Portal and payroll system.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred except where required by our client
  • Medical Insurance Follow Up/insurance Collections experience is required.
  • Must have supervisory or management experience in a healthcare environment.
  • A healthcare RCM is background is preferred.
  • Professional, accurate, clear, and concise verbal and written communications
  • Detailed and thorough
  • Positive and encouraging attitude
  • Resolution driven in timely manner
  • Good attendance record
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Remote and Hybrid positions require a home internet connection that meets the company’s upload and download speed criteria.
