Staris AI is a Series A ventured-backed firm that is reinventing application security with its innovative AI-powered penetration testing that continuously validates and remediates real attack paths in running applications. Our Total Context Security platform proves exploitable vulnerabilities in hours, not weeks, with zero false positives and 40:1 efficiency gains over traditional methods. We're on a mission to transform the indefensible into the impenetrable, advancing applications into a new era of security.

We're looking for a driven Account Executive to own the full sales cycle and bring Staris to software organizations that need security at the speed they ship.
  • Quota range: $1M–$1.5M
  • OTE: $200– $300K
  • Typical deal size: $25–$200K+

What You'll Do
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close in engineering-led and security-driven organizations.
  • Develop and execute territory plans targeting VPs of Engineering, CISOs, and Product Security leads.
  • Run demos and POCs that showcase Staris's closed-loop remediation system.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineering and Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and strong post-sale expansion potential.
  • Accurately forecast pipeline and manage opportunities in CRM (Hubspot), maintaining strong hygiene and stage discipline.
  • Contribute competitive intelligence and feedback from the field to inform product roadmap and GTM positioning.
  • Work with partners to collaborate on opportunities with mutual prospects.

What You'll Bring
  • Track record of exceeding quota consistently.
  • 2–5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with at least 2 years closing deals in cybersecurity, DevSecOps, or developer tooling.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage AI in your day-to-day activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell a technical product to both technical buyers (engineering leaders, security architects) and business buyers (CISOs, VP Engineering).
  • Comfortable running consultative, value-based sales processes in 30–90+ day sales cycles with deal sizes of $25K–$200K+.
  • Experience navigating security procurement in mid-market to enterprise accounts, including security reviews, legal, and multi-stakeholder sign-offs.
  • Familiarity with application security concepts — SAST, DAST, penetration testing, vulnerability management — enough to hold your own in technical conversations.
  • You thrive in early-stage environments where playbooks are being built, not handed to you.
