Product Integration Lead Engineer

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a

to lead a team supporting engineering, product delivery, and data/deliverables for the P-8 program. This is a BDS position reports to the P-8 Data Management Team as part of the Systems Engineering and Integration Team. This position will be 100% onsite in Tukwila, WA.

The P-8 is a high-visibility, advanced commercial derivative military aircraft program supporting the U.S. Navy and international customers. As a Product Integration Engineer, you will oversee and guide a team responsible for Configuration Status Accounting (CSA), Item Unique Identification (IUID), and delivery support for P-8 hardware deliverables.

Position Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the workload for the Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) and Unique Identification (UID) Team.
Oversee and lead CSA activities supporting the product baseline and DD250 delivery for program hardware deliverables.
Represent the team in change activities, including attendance at program meetings such as Impact Assessment Team Meetings, Technical Interchange Meetings, and Configuration Control Boards.
Coordinate with multiple program teams to ensure proper configuration management during engineering change implementation.
Oversee, manage, and maintain the program's Unique Identification Plan and List of Parts, including issue resolution and coordination with the U.S. Navy customer and suppliers.
Collaborate with Supplier Management to ensure suppliers submit required UID SDRLs.
Provide guidance on business process implementation and group documentation (Program/Desktop Instructions).
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and technical excellence.

This position will be 100% onsite in Tukwila, WA.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry

Level 4: 9+ years of related work experience.

Level 5: 14+ years of related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Knowledge and experience providing guidance for the development, analysis, management, and compliance verification of process and product baselines for highly integrated complex products.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate across multiple disciplines to drive project success in an engineering environment.
Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams, program leadership, customers, and suppliers to support data and application needs.
Experience with change/configuration management processes and engineering data management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Familiarity with Government Standards including DFARs Clause 252.211-7003, MIL-STD-129, and MIL-STD-130.
Experience with tools such as Define and Control Airplane Configuration/Product Data Manager (DCAC/PDM), TeamCenter (Tc) or Integrated Product Data Management (IPDM), Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci), Boeing UID System (BUS), and Customer and Supplier Data Transmittal (CSDT).
Willingness to tackle new technical challenges and expand expertise into unfamiliar areas.
Experience with VBA programming.
