Job description

Interventional Radiologist
Froedtert South Medical Group
Froedtert South is seeking a full-time board-certified/board-eligible Interventional Radiologist to join our team. We are a fully 100% clinically oriented IR practice. No diagnostic radiology commitments. Rare opportunity to contribute to building a dynamic, well-rounded interventional practice.
Since 2023, the practice has grown dramatically and organically with strong relationships with wound care, family practice, hospitalist/ER service, oncology, urology, surgery, hemodialysis access and others.
Current treatments offered: PAD/CLI, DVT/May Thurner/IVC Filter, superficial vein ablation, kyphoplasty, UFE, PAE, hemodialysis access, ports, renal ablation among others. All image guided drains, biopsies (no mammography) are performed by the IR service.
We are looking to grow interventional oncology with Y90 approved and hopefully bring TIPS/BRTO with the support of a multi-IR physician team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, clinically oriented, and collaborative interventionalist who will join our current physician to offer the entire breadth of innovative, high end IR services to our patients in a timely fashion unmatched by other centers. The practice is entirely clinical and as such, formal consultations and clinic are expected.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Valid state of Wisconsin medical license

  • Board-eligible or board-certified Interventional Radiology by the American Board of Radiology

  • Completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited residency/fellowship training in Interventional Radiology

  • Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills

  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently
