Schedule/Hours: Monday-Thursday 20 hours/week* The Office Coordinator position will be based in Marble Falls, Texas, and will require travel throughout Burnet County for meetings and events as needed.
*Hours will increase from September through December to support seasonal demand, with the role serving as the Red Kettle Coordinator during the annual Red Kettle Campaign.
*During the summer months, the Office Coordinator will serve as the Burnet County Camp Coordinator and will attend Camp Hoblitzelle in Midlothian, TX, for up to two separate (non-consecutive) one-week sessions as a chaperone.
This position is responsible for:Oversees and participates in the day-to-day operations of a Service Unit responsible for providing assistance to the public; recruits and trains volunteers to assist in performing intake work; performs public relations functions in the community to promote The Salvation Army services and needs; prepares statistical records and other required reports reflecting the Service Center's progress; performs specialized clerical and bookkeeping tasks in the recording and maintenance of precise fiscal records and financial data.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: - Ability to meet attendance requirements.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively.
- Ability to keypunch information into a computer.
- Ability to perform routine and complex mathematical computations repeatedly, rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to operate various general office equipment including a computer and 10-key calculator.
- Ability to work well under the pressure of deadlines.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability and willingness to conduct all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles; conducts all communications and job duties with the highest level of professionalism.
- Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking.
- Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time.
- Work is usually performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like, but may be performed periodically in disaster service areas and camp settings.

Education and Experience: - Associate's degree in business administration or related field, or completed certification in office management or administrative assistant,

- two years of progressively responsible experience in the performance of bookkeeping, office coordination, or similar,
- or
- any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
