The Fifth Third Securities Real Estate Investment Banking Group is seeking a Real Estate Investment Banking Analyst to join their team in New York City.

As an Analyst, you will work closely with senior bankers and clients on complex, high-impact transactions across the real estate sector. You will receive meaningful responsibility, hands-on experience, and ongoing mentorship. Candidates should have at least one year of investment banking, investment sales, capital markets or real estate private equity experience, with a strong preference for candidates who possess a background or demonstrated interest in real estate. Analysts are encouraged to be intellectually curious, execution-oriented, and collaborative.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support real estate transactions.
  • Prepare client-facing materials including presentation materials, market intelligence, and investment memorandums.
  • Assist in the execution of monetizations, capital advisory and other real estate and infrastructure transactions.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of various legal documents related to real estate transactions.
  • Perform due diligence and industry research to support transaction processes.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities with oversight from associates and senior bankers.
  • Communicate project status, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, adapting to an evolving business, client requests and team priorities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, ora relatedfield.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A, real estate,or capital markets. Demonstrated interest in real estate strongly preferred.
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Argus strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines in fast-paced environment.
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79, and Series 63 licenses (or ability to maintain/obtain within company policy).

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Qualified candidates will bring emerging professionalproficiency,generallyacquiredthrough relevant work or internship experience in finance, real estate, accounting, or a related field.
