PURPOSE OF JOB CLASS (NATURE OF WORK)

In the Connecticut Technical Education and Career System this class is accountable for educating students in academic and trade coursework.\r\n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

\r\n One (1) year of work experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation facility;\r\n Experience teaching, preparing lesson plans, differentiated learning and assessing student;\r\n College Career Pathway (CCP) or UCONN Early College Experience (ECE) instructors; and/or having completed the following courses at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU): VTE 113, VTE 116 and Special Education.\r\n\r\n

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Incumbents must possess at time of appointment a valid certificate issued by the Connecticut State Board of Education in accordance with the Certification Regulations Concerning State Educator Certificates, Permits and Authorizations, with a secondary school endorsement.\r\n
