About the role
Concept Plus is seeking a CI/CD DevSecOps QA Analyst to support delivery for the REMIS (Reliability and Maintainability Information System) program. This role integrates quality engineering practices across multiple teams, ensuring testing, validation, and quality assurance are embedded throughout the DevSecOps pipeline to enable coordinated, transparent, and continuous delivery across development, security, and operations.
This position requires knowledge of Air Force IT processes and technology stack, including DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines, Cloud One environments, and Oracle/Java-based systems operating across classified and unclassified DISA and cloud environments.
The QA Analyst works across multiple Scrum teams and a Kanban-based Operations & Maintenance (O&M) workstream to ensure quality is continuously validated throughout delivery. Responsibilities include supporting automated testing, validating system functionality and performance, tracking defects, and ensuring deliverables meet defined quality standards and mission objectives.
What you'll do
  • Integrate quality assurance practices into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automated testing and validation occur at each stage of the delivery lifecycle
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks supporting unit, integration, system, and regression testing
  • Collaborate with development and DevSecOps teams to ensure test automation is aligned with build and deployment processes
  • Validate system functionality, performance, and security requirements across development, test, and production environments
  • Ensure test coverage, traceability, and defect management are maintained within tools such as Jira and integrated DevSecOps platforms
  • Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) by enabling rapid feedback loops and minimizing manual testing dependencies
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning, and definition of done from a quality perspective
  • Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and validation
  • Support implementation of security testing practices (e.g., static/dynamic analysis, vulnerability scanning) within the pipeline
  • Develop and maintain test data strategies and ensure data integrity across environments
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying bottlenecks, gaps, and opportunities to enhance quality and delivery efficiency
  • Participate in SCRUM teams contributing to the development of test cases and overall testing strategies.
  • Participate in Retrospectives to evaluate integrated teams' effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Assist in statistical data analysis and reporting to evaluate system performance, identifying discrepancies or errors for resolution.
  • Analyze system interfaces to ensure they work as expected across different platforms

Required Qualifications
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Secret Clearance
  • DoD 8140 intermediate certification or DoD 8570 IAM Level II certifications or higher
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5 years of experience as Quality Assurance Analyst supporting Agile software development in a CI/CD or DevSecOps environment
  • Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and tools
  • Experience integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., build validation, automated regression testing)
  • Familiarity with Jira and test management integration for tracking test execution, defects, and traceability
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern DevSecOps practices
  • Experience working in cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS or similar platforms)
  • Knowledge of API testing, integration testing, and system testing methodologies

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with Agile development teams of 20+ FTEs and be familiar with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience supporting DoD or Air Force systems, including work within Cloud One or similar environments
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines in classified and unclassified environments
  • Experience with security testing tools and practices
  • Knowledge of Oracle-based systems and Java application stacks
  • Experience supporting multiple Agile teams in a scaled delivery environment
