What will you do in this job?
Safety, anticipating guest needs, honoring our surroundings and bringing your best every day are the core values we live by in order to provide dynamic guest service at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge. As the Retail Associate, you will accurately and efficiently handle monetary transactions. You will answer client questions in regards to products, the lodge and Alaska. You will have a range of duties:
  • Provide sales and service for Gift Shop guests
  • Close and balance assigned till and submit daily paperwork for night audits
  • Computer process all sales transactions
  • Inventory control and restocking of items, maintaining a list of restocking needs
  • Assist management with daily operational tasks

What skills and experience do you need for this job?
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of computer business applications with working knowledge of computerized retail point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • Ability to work as a team and independently

The starting wage for this role is $16.00/hour.
