What Youโ€™ll Do

We are looking for a licensed psychologist to join our team who is experienced administering, interpreting, and writing psychological assessments to either children or adults.

  1. If the psychologist works with adults, they may choose to offer either remote or in-person testing. If the psychologist works with children, some in-person testing may be required. In-person testing would be held at one of our many office locations in New York City.
  2. The psychologist will also be responsible for conducting psychological evaluations for our testing department with support from our assessment psychologists and testing technicians. We are particularly interested in licensed psychologists who have prior experience assessing ADD/ADHD, learning disability, and autism. The psychologist should be able to independently administer, score, and interpret psychological assessments. If interested, there are also opportunities to manage a caseload of therapy clients.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate (required)
  • License in New York (required)
  • Ability to provide in-person testing in New York City (optional)
  • Prior experience independently performing and writing psychological assessments
  • All applicants must be fluent in English

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Diagnose clients with behavioral and mental illness in keeping with the DSM-V diagnostic criteria
  • Document client records in our electronic health record system
  • Maintain licensure in good standing with New York State
  • Maintain code of ethics and confidentiality of all client information in keeping with HIPAA
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work environment
  • Assessment Responsibilities
  • Administer, score, and interpret formal psychological assessments
  • Conduct clinical interviews and feedback sessions with examinees
  • Write psychological reports
  • If interested, supervise testing technicians in administering psychological assessments

Salary Range: $90'000-120'00
