Job description

As a Project Manager, your role will be working with our IT&S team that supports the Carrix organization. You will drive successful delivery, manage all aspects of a given project, and deliver defined value through effective planning and facilitation while meeting time, budget, and scope requirements. You will apply advanced knowledge of project management concepts and practices to lead complex strategic and tactical initiatives that may span enterprise-wide and carry large impact for the broader organization, our customers and our clients. You will apply your strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to execute project plans, evaluate trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value, and minimize risk. In your job as a Project Manager, you may be called upon to provide indirect leadership to project teams and our stakeholders and serve as a lead integrator of initiatives to ensure success of the bigger picture.

This role focuses on enterprise ERP initiatives, with an emphasis on delivery, upgrades, mergers/acquisitions, integrations, and optimization of the IFS Cloud ERP platform across the Carrix organization.

  • Lead and coordinate IFS Cloud ERP initiatives, including version upgrades, module enhancements, system integrations, testing cycles (SIT/UAT), cutover planning, and post-implementation stabilization.
  • Facilitate cross-initiative planning discussions and identify dependencies.
  • Addresses and ensures resource gaps are resolved and that initiatives are adequately supported.
  • Ensure project and/or sprint objectives align with stakeholder goals and strategy.
  • Develop executable plans, including timelines and deliverables.
  • Establishes appropriate governance.
  • Act as an advisor and build and maintain relationships across the wider stakeholder community including Finance,Operations, Supply Chain, and external system integrators to ensure outcomes align with business objectives and operational priorities.
  • Partner with sponsor(s) and key stakeholders to communicate project goals, objectives, and outcomes.
  • Maintain feedback loop with key stakeholders to ensure identified program adjustments are made to deliver increased business value.
  • Lead regular interactions with sponsor(s) to inform, alert, negotiate, and maintain a beneficial relationship.
  • Build long-term, strategic relationships with stakeholders.
  • Optimize day-to-day operational aspects of multiple initiatives or agile teams.
  • Contribute to building a framework or set of guidelines for the use of project managers and support its adoption across initiatives.
  • Remove potential roadblocks by negotiating conflicts and resolving issues.
  • Maintains oversight over the entire project lifecycle and work with appropriate stakeholders to oversee all phases of initiatives within the project.
  • Measure value delivered by initiatives, ensure value is realized, and identify opportunities to deliver increased value across initiatives.
  • Regularly solicit feedback from stakeholders regarding satisfaction with outcomes.
  • Analyze and prioritize risks across initiatives and assesses potential impact.
  • Identify areas requiring change, advocate for, support and influence enterprise change.
  • Ensures the inclusion and effectiveness of Organizational Change Management activities and may coordinate change efforts across initiatives.
  • Actively contributes to and may lead aspects of developing and implementing project management concepts, tools, and structure.
