PROJECT MANAGER

Primary Function/Summary
The NuSource Project Manager is responsible for driving the completion of technology integration projects in the most efficient and cost-effective manner while maintaining our core values of Professionalism, Integrity, and Teamwork. The Project Manager manages project scope and schedule and is responsible for alignment of all internal and external resources needed to deliver the customer desired outcome. The Project Manager is responsible for all project communications with both internal resources, external integration partners, and the client. Additionally, the Project Manager is responsible for monitoring progress, keeping the project on schedule, and making decisions as needed to meet the customer and company expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a world class customer experience!
  • Performing scope review of assigned projects
  • Sending introduction and next steps emails to customer contact
  • Scheduling and conducting internal and external project kickoff calls
  • Determining project schedule and developing project milestones
  • Requesting project resources (both internal and external)
  • Communicating project schedule and milestones to all project resources and stakeholders
  • Collecting critical installation/technical information from client technical staff, the networks, and other third-party resources needed for timely equipment configuration and commissioning
  • Delegation of tasks to resources who are best suited to complete them (internal, third party, or client)
  • Conducting regular project status meetings to keep resources on task and on schedule
  • Communicating project status to team, stakeholders and executive levels as needed
  • Escalating within organizations as needed to remove roadblocks and keep projects on schedule
  • Creating project punch lists and ensuring all tasks are completed to customer satisfaction
  • Performing project closeouts and postmortem meetings as needed
  • Documenting lessons learned and continually improving the Project Management Process
