Job description (Project Engineer)
  • Project Engineer is responsible for planning, scheduling, leading, managing, and following all phases of design, detail, check, release, and follow up on projects assigned. He/she will research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of design or applications. This person will also perform engineering duties for planning and designing functioning equipment. He/She will oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
  • Advanced knowledge with recent software such as Computer Added Design (CAD) systems.
    • Solidworks & Autodesk Softwares
    • Visio
    • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows XP or higher
  • Project/customer will vary from Nissan, GM, Cummins, Ford, or Rivian
  • Travel to customer facilities is required. This role requires person to be on the customer floor a lot.
  • Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or equivalent in education and/or experience required
  • Experience in design and build of Assembly and or Test machines systems preferred
  • Experience with mechanical mechanisms, machinery, transmissions, engine assembly and test systems preferred
