Division/Department: RCS - Client Engagement
Location: Middleburg Heights, Ohio (3 days/week onsite)
Purpose:
Quadax, a leader in healthcare revenue cycle management, is seeking a Project Analyst to join the Company’s RCS division. The Project Analyst supports the financial health of a healthcare organization by analyzing claims, collections, and reimbursement data to identify process gaps, reduce denials, and improve cash flow. This role partners with operational and leadership teams to monitor key performance indicators, strengthen revenue cycle workflows, and ensure compliance with payer requirements and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze revenue cycle data, trends, and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities
- Review denials, underpayments, and billing errors to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and summaries
- Partner with Operations and other teams to improve workflow accuracy and efficiency
- Support audits, process documentation related to revenue cycle practices
- Help ensure compliance with internal policies, payer guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Produce and analyze monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting for internal and external customers to ensure timely processing of insurance claims, expected payer reimbursement, and key performance metrics such as days in AR
- Identify and bring forward positive/negative trends, including front-end payer rejections, denials, appeal, and statement success
- Perform system set-ups and maintenance such as interface tables, contracts/expected amounts, insurance, ERA, client billing, and letter maintenance
- Complete mass processing activities to appropriately advance the AR
- Document and maintain billing policies, change requests, process flows, and other organizational documents to ensure consistency and accountability of service delivery to client/s
- Coordinate and facilitate internal and external meetings including agenda preparation, meeting notes, and action item documentation
- Triage and monitor open item/action task lists to completion through ongoing communication with task owners, key stakeholders, and subject matter experts
- Manage client specific projects, work with integrations and Project Management Office
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field of study
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of medical billing and revenue cycle management considered a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a premium on Excel knowledge
- Ability to travel minimally, as required
Salary: $50k-$60k depending on experience
